New blog design and explanation for my absence

Secondly an explanation for my extended absence.......
As many of you know we went on holiday to glorious Costa Brava in Spain for two on 1st of July....and had a truly wonderful time. We drove down there from Yorkshire and stopped over at a campsite in France for one night, which with 4 kids was a proper adventure :D. On the way home we spent 2 days travelling through France and had another 2 nights camping. I have lots of photos which you will see soon if you are following me on Facebook :)
Then after being home a week my husband had some trouble at work and after 10 years of never having a days sick was signed off by the doctor for over 3 weeks. I won't go into details but he needed a lot of support and with the kids off school too I have been unable to do any work at all. I am not used to going for extended periods without drawing and most artists will tell you its like having their right arm chopped off or like losing the ability to speak. Very frustrating
Thankfully hubby went back to work on Monday and has been considerably better for the last week or so. It is hard to express how amazing it is to see him back to his old self. My husband is my lynch pin and inspires everything that I do. To just have a taster of what it would be like to not have his strength in my life makes me very thankful for what I have......not to mention relieved that he is now returning to normality :) I love him very very much :)
So I am back to drawing again and am working on something very exciting right now!!!! EEEP!! :) I can't wait to show you.
I also have a new computer now which is better able to cope with Photoshop and the super sized files that I work with. My poor old laptop will be glad of the rest....the old girl was starting to feel the strain, bless her. So my work rate should improve vastly now that I don't have to wait 20 mins for PS to start every morning :)
I am sorry to you all for not being around much recently I hope you can all forgive me ;)

This next image I am especially proud of. She is a gift tube for Sarah Fiack who asked me to create something to help her raise awareness about Vitiligo, a condition that causes skin to lose pigmentation resulting in white patches often around the eyes or fingers.
I wanted to show that such flaws are beautiful in their own way. I hope my work gets this message across.
And when I saw this tag that Sarah created using her I was even more proud. She just took what I created and made it shine
I think that I may do a post soon including some of the tags people have made from my work as it never ceases to amaze me what an incredible job those taggers can do with my making it more beautiful than I imagined it could ever look. So if you have any or know of any that I have not seen already please let me know.
